How can i get off a submarine?

Im a Nav ET on a submarine, i well i hate my job lol. I've been rated since aug of 10 wouldn't i be able to cross rate in aug 2012? Is it hard to go from submarines to surface? i don't want to reenlist to do this i wanna get out asap so would i even be able to do this? I dont even care what i rerate to preferable a conventional ET. I just want a job where i can breathe fresh air and quals are at a slower pace and where i have plenty of time to college when im offwork. Im not sure how possible this is though a subschool instructor once told that you cant go to college and then highschool meaning rerate to a cheesy job.
